Is God still speaking?
Louise’s comment on PeaceBang’s article God is Still Speaking hit a strong resonant chord within me. She wrote:
God speaks to me when I suddenly tear up “for no reason.” The message is, “Pay attention. This is important. Find out why you are moved by this.” And when I realize that I am important enough for these special messages of awareness, I cry a bit more.
These touches come to me at the expected times: weddings, funerals, birthdays, and other celebrations and memorials of life events., but very often recently, they come during seemingly mundane events: watching a movie I’ve seen many times before, or reading a book that is faded and worn from multiple readings. My heart beats with a sudden thud in my chest and my eyes well up as I’m filled with a renewed connection to Divinity. Sometimes just a flash and it is gone, other times it consumes my attention. Always, as Louise said, I’m led to find out why, and find a new lesson or insight.
I see now that Mama G has left a comment and said what I’m trying to say here much better.
Is God still speaking? Absolutely. Her voice is loud and clear for any and all who want to hear His voice.

It is God’s version of “sign language” but very few U*Us want to hear it. . .
