Dear Lenovo Technical Support,

If you direct a customer with a valid warranty to a local certified Lenovo service center instead of doing the ship-to-depot do-si-do, you should also inform the customer the service center is going to charge $90.00 to work on their laptop so said customer is fully informed of the consequences of their decision.

    I ditched Lenovo for their lousy service, not to mention that they had to change the hard drive half a dozen times and couldn’t give me a straight answer as to why they were using such shoddy parts. And I sent them an email saying why I was NEVER buying their products again, AND giving a negative recommendation to everyone I know.

    I have been, in general, happy with their service over the years. The hardware is reliable and I’ve not had no more bad experiences with their tech support than anyone else. It’s just annoying to run into these kinds of hiccups in what is otherwise good support.
