Books are about ideas. I might viscerally hate the ideas in a book, but I don’t think my hatred of those ideas should prevent the book from being published or sold. Publishers should have the courage to market books wherever they think they might sell.

Trying to avoid offending people is a race to the bottom leading to pablum and mediocrity.
